Forward privacy must be open
Verification by forward only works if your Telegram account allows forwarded messages from users:
Settings → Privacy and Security → Forwarded messages → Everybody.
If forwards are closed, Telegram strips the sender id from every forward, for everyone, including the bot. Checkers then see "hidden account" and no status can be produced for you. Binding an account to TiedTo implies this setting is open. See the privacy policy.
Mirror vs bot
The mirror page shows the same data, but it is a reflection, not the source. A link inside a stranger's DM is a phishing primitive. The bot you already have is the root of trust.
